Bobby Nathan has been around a while and done just about everything you can do in the music field: played, sung, arranged, produced, mixed--you name it he's done it. Having said that, "I'm Ready" is his first solo CD, but it shows that Nathan really knows what he's doing.

The tunes covered are by some of the greats,
Toussaint, Hendrix, Willie Dixon and even SRV. Nathan has an ass kicking band.
Nathan's Recitation of Jimi Hendrix's "My Friend" is exceptional.
Nathan is one hell of a Guitarist.
The rhythm section is a text book example
of how one should work
and "You've Got Me Runnin'" is all the illustration you would need.




Bobby Nathan has dined with the greats and brought home souvenir matchbooks. Covering tunes from all the bigshots from Stevie Ray to Muddy Waters, Nathan creates a pastiche of traditional takes on masterful originals.




Bobby's remake of the classic "Get Out My Life Woman Blues" as  originally recorded by "Paul Butterfield Blues Band" - This version has no harmonica but instead features Bobby's stingin' "Albert Collins" style guitar solos and a dynamic horn arrangement by "The Uptown Horns".
